Happy New Year, Team! What a wonderful week we have had. Each of you are actively and passionately participating in our relaunch. Randy and I care deeply about i26 and our company. The fact that you are in direct partnership with us and are contributing with such gusto touches me deeply. I would like to begin sharing with all of you our strategies for growth. My hope is to keep us all on the same page and to keep each of you informed of what we're up to. The number one priority for growing Legacy for Life is to partner with new Distributors. Today, I will write to you our philosophy on inviting. This is a proven approach. I must mention first that it is about having the right ATTITUDE! Our attitude is passion. (Passion is not to be confused with pushiness) We are passionate about sharing the benefits of i26 and the opportunity to work from home. Now: There is a simple system for getting new Distributors that has been proven time and again in this industry: Whether we get interested candidates to a party or a personal meeting, the number one key is to talk to enough people! It is proven that for every 100 contacts, a small percentage will immediately want more information, a small percentage will want to purchase as a customer, and then a small percentage will call us back when the timing is right. The rest say no, no thank you, forget about it...etc. Mix parties and meetings are second to the very important first step of prospecting. To find interested prospects: The first approach is simple introduction. (2 to 3 minutes). Our passion and a share pack with one of the following: "My kids haven't been sick in 11 months" - "My knee is finally better" - "I lost 10 pounds" - or "I've started a new business" - "I work for a company in OKC that sells i26 - the only immune supplement on the market" - "I'm partnering with a new company here in OKC" Whatever your story is, it must be true and what the person sharing is excited about. Then when the person we are speaking to says: Product: "Wow! That sounds interesting" - we say "There is a 90 day money back guarantee, I can get you more information if you would like" Or "I don't take supplements - my doctor says" - we say "there are many clinical studies for that reason. I understand where you're coming from." THEN LET IT GO! Business: "Our company pays people to sell our products" - "We can help people start a home based business part time and the tax advantages are astounding!" - "You can create the flexibility and income you need by working with us to sell our product" They say: "Is this a pyramid scheme?" - we say "it is network marketing, it is not a pyramid scheme which promises getting rich quick by the exchange of money rather than a true product to represent." "I'm not interested" or "No" - we say. "Okay! Thanks! I appreciate your position." Whatever. WE DO NOT SAY ANYTHING MORE. NOT ONE WORD. "How does it work?" or "What is the product?" or "What is the cost to get in?" - anything (big or little) where they indicate they would like a little more information, we say: "Let's have coffee or there is an information meeting this Thursday night for others just getting started" or "can I have my co-worker or our owner call you and answer your questions" WE DO NOT DUMP THE ENTIRE STORY THERE! ZIP IT AND SET A TIME! Then and only then will we begin to provide detail regarding our business model. When they agree to a meeting for more information, they may very well need to reschedule or not show up. WE ARE OKAY WITH THAT! We are here for people who are eager to take the next step. We will not push. We will not say "Why weren't you at the meeting?" When they call to say, "Sorry I wasn't there" - we say: "No problem, you know where we are when you want to learn more". As we introduce our concepts we are never pushing. They learn more, at their pace, every step of the way. What we do is talk to enough people and ask for the next step. At any point that someone puts up a slow down motion - then we slow it down with them and talk to more people! When our contacts are comfortable that they can explore what we offer and really learn if it would be a fit for them without being pushed into it or "recruited", they have been more likely to take the next step. We don't want Distributors that "fog a mirror". We want interested parties that we can help to achieve their goals in a professional and consistent manner. This is how the most people experience the benefits of i26! Our goal for the month of February is 37 new members. As of this morning, we have 7. We can feel proud that every one of these 7 is serious about changing their future. Francis and I are adding to our contact list in order to find the right members. We are eager to add to this list every day. If you know of someone who would like more information, know that we are here. (Can't stop before sending a special thanks to Ainslee who has referred one new Distributor already this month and is talking to others now). This is the time we have all worked so hard to reach. More sales strategies from me to follow in the weeks ahead. Thanks for being such a valuable member of our team. Connie Calvert |
